Turning Trials to Triumphs!

I John 5:4  
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world;
and this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.

Your trial becomes your triumph! What you are going through today will either become your stumbling or stepping stone. We romanticize Joshua marching around the walls of Jericho, David defeating the giant and the Hebrew boys standing before a fiery furnace, but the walking around the walls was a test of endurance, the giant was a haunting reminder of a situation that just wouldn’t go away and the fiery furnace a true test of faith. These stories and more that we look at as great victories, are the testimonies of people who simply pressed on when the trial of their life came. We would make them super heroes, but in actuality, they were simply people who chose to believe in God instead of the circumstance.

Today great stories of faith are still being written. The single parent raising children, the man standing strong, waiting for the job opportunity to open, the spouse hanging on to the marriage when many would throw in the towel; all people with an opportunity to allow the trial to become a triumph. Going through a trail or test. Hang on; Jesus is on your side and he always triumphs!
